General Information:

Soccer Referees at the JunglePlex must be at least 16 years of age or older
All soccer referees must have an up-to-date US Indoor Badge to officiate at the facility (certification/re-certification courses are held at the JunglePlex every October).
Being US Indoor certified does not guarantee a position as a referee at the JunglePlex
All referees are evaluated twice per year
Pay Scales:
Under 8 – Under 14: $15 per game
Under 16 and up: $20 per game
2-man system: $15 per game, all ages
Pay Periods run bi-weekly, Sunday 6am through Saturday at 12am
Checks will be available at the Sports Desk after the pay period ends (no checks will be mailed)
Referees are paid by the scoresheets that are put on the spike after their games
Referees will not be scheduled unless availability is given to Jason no later than Friday evenings
Scores must be written in the scores binder after each shift is completed
Schedules are posted at the Sports Desk and online

Veteran Soccer Referee Meeting/US Indoor Re-Certification

For referees that officiated at the JunglePlex in 2008-09 winter sessions
Register on-line for the re-certification part of the meeting at www.usindoor.com
Re-certification fee is based on your 2009 badge status (referee, state, or national)

2010 US Indoor Referee Certification Course

Saturday, October 24, 2009, 6-8pm in the JunglePlex' Muddy Cleat Pub
For referees that are new to US Indoor or do not have their 2009 badge
$60, register for course at www.usindoor.com. You must pre-register!
Instructor: Jason Tassinari, US Indoor Regional Instructor, National Referee, and JunglePlex Athletic Director
anyone can attend the course to receive their 2010 badge, regardless of outdoor experience or USSF badge status
Attendance at the certification course does not guarantee working at the JunglePlex in the winter.
