Frequently Asked Questions
- What do I do I'm not affiliated with a team?
- Visit our free agent posting board and enter your information. It will be posted for coaches/team contacts to view.
- You can also check out our schedules and see when teams in your division play, then come and ask each coach in person if they need any players (no coach’s contact information will be given out). Make sure you are aware of the age cut-off dates so you know what age group you qualify for.
- What kind of footwear does my child need to play indoor soccer?
JunglePlex's three, non-boarded athletic fields are outfitted with SprinTurf, which is a thick, synthetic grass. Players may wear either traditional outdoor soccer cleats or indoor soccer shoes (outdoor are preferred for optimum traction).
- How many players do I need for a team if I am going to coach?
Indoor soccer requires 5 field players and a goalie. Most teams carry between 11 and 14 players. Rosters can not exceed 18 players.
- Are there going to be separate sub-divisions within the open division?
Divisions depend upon the skill level and number of registered teams. We offer Open and Premier levels in each age group. Traditionally, all club teams and stronger youth/town teams play in Premier, while weaker teams play in Open. The Athletic Director will have final say as to which division each team plays in based on the information provided on the Team Registration Form.
- What if I want to book practice time for my team?
Field rental is as follows: $200/hour per field. Teams may also split the cost and share a field with another team if they so choose. Practice time must be booked in person at the Sports Desk and paid in full at the time of booking. Full facility rental is available as well.
- Are you strictly and indoor facility?
We have a large, full-sized outdoor soccer field. Our outdoor, natural grass field is used during the spring, summer, and fall months for club soccer games, JunglePlex league games, baseball activities, lacrosse, and field hockey. We do not provide hourly rentals for our outdoor field space.
- Are players allowed to play on several age groups?
Players and teams are encouraged to play age appropriate, although we do allow players to play on older teams. Youth leagues are not Coed (only adult leagues are). Players cannot play down an age group, however. Players also cannot play in 2 levels of any division (i.e.: Boys Under 12 Open and Boys Under 12 Premier).
